Harper had been planning for quite some time that if the puppies were born anytime other than during school hours, she would get to go watch the birth. The 17th was the first day that school was called off for the Coronavirus, and we were all excited to get the call around noon that Margo was in labor!
We were all quite excited and while not intending to stay the whole time, we got to witness 4 of the puppies be born! The kids has so much fun that day! Birth of any kind is pretty amazing!
They have grown quite a bit in the last four weeks! The kids are head over heels for these pups! We get asked almost daily if they can go to see the pups! They’ve certainly made it hard to social distance ourselves from grandma and grandpa!
Harper would spend all day hanging with them if we’d let her! She has named a couple of the pups- Blue and Lake. She keeps asking about getting one, but I’m afraid Miles is plenty for this household!
The puppies are almost 4 weeks old already! We don’t talk much about when they will go to their forever homes, someone gets a little sad and occasionally teary- Harper and Grandma! 😁
