Huskers vs. Bluejays Fun

We scored tickets to the Creighton vs. Nebraska volleyball game in September! It was a fun game, our family being split between the Huskers and our Desi’s Bluejays! In the end, the Huskers came out with a win after a 5 set battle but we enjoyed watching both teams!

4th Grade Football

Osmond also teamed with Plainview for tackle football. Carter has enjoyed playing this year- for the most part 😉. He’s done well on the field for his first year in tackle football, mainly playing quarter back and running back! He had many appearances between 4th, 5th and even 6th grade games. He had quite a few touchdown runs with his speed and some good defensive plays! We are excited to see how he develops as a player!

Jr. High Volleyball

This year, Osmond teamed with Plainview for jr. high sports. The girls had a few things this summer teaming up, but their relationships have sure grown once the season started. So far, this been a great experience for all! Harper has grown as a player and teammate! She’s improved so much since last year, it’s been fun to watch!

She’s gotten lots of middle playing time on B team and some middle and right side time on A.

Lauryn is one the new friends Harper has made. Harper has been a busy bee attending birthday parties of her new friends!

Happy Birthday Harper

A teenager, we are parents to a teenager?!?! Say what?!? Harper is 13! We just don’t feel old enough to have a teenager!

She celebrated with friends a few weeks earlier with a fun pool party and sleepover! This birthday was extra special because she found out that day she was on A &B team for volleyball!

She has certainly grown this past year. She is officially taller than mom. She’s a busy girl, between all the sports! In her free time, she loves to go hang out at daycare and help with the kids! She’s still the early riser in the family, and still hasn’t learned to put anything away…unless you leave her home alone- then you will come home to a spotless house! We are so proud of the person she is growing into, excited to see where this year takes her!

‘25 School starts!

Summer few by, and another school year came quick! Mom was ready for some routine, however I didn’t anticipate our schedules would be quite so crazy!

Harlow entered 2nd grade with Mrs. Bahr as her teacher!

Carter headed to a new hallway and 4th grade. Mr. Gunther is his teacher, he’s most excited about all the animals his teacher has.

Harper entered a new world with 7th grade and jr. high. She’s student managing for volleyball on top of her own volleyball schedule so her schedule is more like a high schooler!

We are excited to see what this year brings, other than a crazy schedule of kids going here and there 😁.

Last taste of summer

The kids had the best summer with Lillie, like always! We are always so sad when her last day rolls around, she is very much appreciated by all of us!

Lots of time was spent with these boys this summer!

Harper and Rylan got to attend a volleyball camp put on by some Husker players!

Lots of fun on the river! And camping!

Grandpa got the 4- wheeler fixed!

Harlow had a full day of production choreography! This will be the first year Dance Bright is participating in this dance style, Harlow is the youngest dancer in this group! We can’t wait to see how it comes together!

Week off fun!

We got home from sate softball on Sunday and Tuesday, we headed out of town again. This time, we headed east to Adventureland. None of us had been before, so we were excited to see what it was all about.

Harlow braved the big rollercoaster with Ty and I. She had tears on the way up, by the end liked it but she wasn’t itching at the opportunity to go again.

Harper got a picture of all of us!

We hit the water park and had fun there! Our hotel was right across the street, so we could just walk to the park each day. The lines were super short, many times we could get off a ride and get right back on!

We enjoyed our get away, but after being gone for state softball and having such a short turn around, everyone was ready to be home.

We ended the week off fishing at Docs pond. Harlow was killing it- barely getting her cast out before she had another bite! She tallied like 18 fish for the night, but said she had equal amounts of bug bites. Saturday we helped celebrate Kennady and Keaton’s wedding!
