Homecoming 2021

The kids had so much fun with the homecoming festivities this year! They got to dress up every day, go to the pepper rally, and Carter was the homecoming crown bearer. 

Carter was so handsome in his suit! He had been quite nervous a couple weeks leading up to it, but was a little cooler the day of- until about 3 minutes before halftime.  The timid, nervous little boy in him came out again! While we weren’t entirely sure he was gonna suck it up and do it- he pulled it together with about 8 seconds left in the 2nd quarter!  He did a great job with his duties when it came time 😁. 

They all had to get picture with their favorite girls! We definitely aren’t ready for our go- to sitters to not be around much longer 😥, but we are excited to see what their future holds! 

Birthday fun!

I may be a little late in posting, but we had lots of fun for Harper’s 9th birthday!  I’m not even sure how quickly we’ve gotten to this point. It feels like just yesterday we brought our sweet anniversary baby home from the hospital to our quaint little house in Broken Bow ❤️.  Now we have a beautiful blonde helper, growing taller by the minute. She’s anxiously awaiting the arrival of her first true cousin! 

She had some friend sleepover for her big day! We had fun trying a new tie-dye technique! Supper with family and a fire to end a fun day! 

We can’t wait to see who she continues to grow into! She makes us so proud and happy! 

School

It’s crazy to report that we have all 3 kids in school this years! What?!?! How is this even possible? Harper is now in 3rd grade! She’s got a new teacher this year so she was a little nervous about that, but has enjoyed getting to know her.  She’s been a great help to her little brother being in the same building!

 Carter started Kindergarten- yikes! We were concerned he would struggle a bit with the transition but he’s taken it like a champ! He’s done great eating school lunches- and has liked most of them (win for mom- hate packing lunch!) 

Harlow started 3 year old preschool! She is the only girl in her class, but if anyone can handle it- it’d be Harlow! I’m sure she will be bossing those boys around in no time!  She’s loving that it’s finally her turn to go to school! 

While we were all sad to see summer come to an end, mom was ready for routine again. Everyone has adjusted so well, but we are all excited for a 3 day weekend coming up! We are excited to see how the kids grow this year! 

These kiddos had the best summer with Lillie and Grace! The kids absolutely adore their babysitters! Harlow was having a moment that day and wouldn’t smile 🙄.  We are blessed with the best help taking care of our kiddos!
