An Exciting Future!

Well.... we are building a house! A legit house! Who would have ever guessed- not us! 🤣 While we do love our current house, we’ve toyed with the idea of adding on a basement and we’ve toyed with remodeling some other homes- ultimately, we decided the best way to get what we want was to build. We don’t see ourselves moving from Osmond for a very, very long time- probably never- unless my kids are all somewhere else and I’m having FOMO 😉

We seriously started talking about it in January, decided 100% for sure in March, and we are already 2 months into the process! And we are still married so far! 

April 8th is the day we broke ground! The kids are excited for their own rooms, mom is excited for a big pantry and dad is excited for a basement! 

The process has been fairly smooth so far, minus a few hiccups! The kids love looking at new stuff on my phone to decorate with! We’ve enjoyed our nightly “check to see what was done at the house” visit. 

We don’t really have a time line of when we will be done, I’m guessing we will be in by the beginning of next year but time will tell! 

5 Years Old!

How is it possible that our sweet, tender hearted boy is 5 years old?!?! It seems like just yesterday he rapidly came into this world! 

He has grown so much this past year! He’s really shot up the last few months! He’s mastered his bike without training wheels and is a number whiz! He loves learning! He’s still a mamas boy with a big ole heart, that loves a good snuggle session in the rocking chair ❤️   

He’s still the farm loving, sports fanatic little guy! He spent lots of hours watching reruns of basketball games during Covid! We are quite excited for another summer season and he’s especially excited for swimming! 

For his big day we spent the afternoon on the golf course, followed by nothing less than a pizza supper of course! Complete with presents and cake!
