It’s Christmas!!!

What a wonderful week we had celebrating the Christmas holiday with all our family! We bounced from here to there and everywhere but we wouldn’t want it any other way!

Our Christmas week started Sunday with decorating Gingerbread houses. They are getting very creative with the designs each year! Thank goodness we had help from nana and papa!

The kids had a great time looking at Christmas lights and Pierce had some great ones at that! We loved hearing their oo’s and aw’s! Their favorite of course had to be the Santa popping out of the outhouse (they all have their dads sense of humor)!

Christmas Eve they got to hang out with Kendyl in the morning and make waffles- Olaf Waffles!

Christmas Eve was spent at my parents, then attending the kids’ program at church followed by presents!!! We had some great responses from the kids presents and they truly loved being able to give each other their gifts they bought from each other! They are learning the true meaning!

The kids got quite spoiled by everyone this year and Santa brought them just what they wanted!

Carter thought it was pretty cool that they all had matching shirts so we had to get a picture!

Christmas Day found us spending the day with the Gansebom family and ending with the Koehler family! After attending Koehler events with the loud children, it makes you appreciate the smaller get togethers :)

Lots of fun and games are had when Kelsey and Kearney are back!

I finally caved and let Carter have some corn to play with. And yes, I’ve already regretted that decision but I guess farmers boys have to be boys!

We are still recovering from all our Christmas fun! It’s hard to believe another year has come and gone. The kids have grown and changed so much this year! We are excited to see what 2020 has in store for us!

(Temporary Backup) Christmas fun!

The last few weeks have been busy with prep for the holidays! First and foremost, was a trip to see Santa! Harper was the only brave one to sit on his lap, and without mom, the other two wouldn’t have even made it on the stage. Harper requested LOL dolls, Carter first threw out a Christmas Tree, then got serious with his Soccer Guys! Harper spoke for Harlow in saying an LOL doll as well- mom is trying to talk her into something else!

Saturday night we attended a party at our camping buddies, Brenda and Stuart’s! The kids had a lot of fun, and highjacked mom's phone!

Sunday, Carter had his concert at school! He did great and had no hesitation entertaining in front of everyone!   He’s definitely a fan of music!

Tonight, Harper had her concert at school! She did a great job once we got over a dress argument at home!

We had a mini shoot at home before Carter got home!

Harlow had quite the expressions tonight for our pictures!

We have a very busy 10 days ahead of us!

Independent Reader!!!

On Monday, Harper got to complete her Independent Reader walk at school!  To reach the level of independent reader, you have to get a 100% on 5 test at each level from .3-1.2. She actually passed her test last week, but had to patiently wait to complete her walk with the snow storm and thanksgiving break, her walk was a bit delayed!

We are so proud of this girl! She is the 3rd one in her class to reach it so far! He ready has improved so much and she is striving every day to reach that 100%.

“It is the best day ever” ❤️  Big things are ahead for this girly!
