Littlest two updates!

Harlow has been quite the little spitfire lately! She has grown so much! She’s taking quite a liking to her potty chair recently! She’s even gone pee without any prompting a couple times!  She loves singing her ABC’s and counting to 10!  She is loving the little bit of spring/summer weather we’ve had and is constantly wanting to be outside. She has the sweetest little voice and even when she’s upset and crying tries to get her part of the story across!  She’s become quite the little chatter box! And she’s got quite the curls to go with her attitude!

She love to try and hide things behind her back, especially her shoes! Or down her shirt!  You often won’t find her in pants, we often hear “I no want it pants on”. Another favorite phrases is still “I do it self”   She is an independent one- that’s for sure!

Her and Carter still love to do puzzles! They are definitely two peas in pod! She even trusts that he will catch her on a trust fall off the couch!  They get along pretty well most of the time!

These two definitely love their daddy! He even took the two of them fishing the other day!

Carter has seemed to have grown up so much over past few months! He’s still the farm loving boy he’s always been! He’s gotten a lot braver and wanting to do more things without mom or dad being by his side.

We are trying to work on more schooling stuff, he is pretty excited for preschool in the fall!  He loves him some tank tops and shorts! He got an outfit for Easter that’s a cutoff one and he searches his drawer every day to see if it’s been washed so he can wear it!

All the kids are anxiously awaiting to go camping and to go swimming! I’m enjoying a little weekend with the girls and Daddy is on duty!

1 down...12 to go!

Harper had her last day of Kindergarten about 10 days ago already, it’s been non stop since then! We forgot how exhausting summer and all it’s fun can be!

She loved Kindergarten so much! Looking back, I don’t think there was but maybe 1 or 2 days where she would have rather been home than at school! She was blessed to have a great teacher and has learned so much this year! It’s amazing the things they now teach little ones!

Summer has already been busy for our social butterfly! Heaven forbid she stay home too long!  We can’t wait too see what lies ahead for our little lady!

Weekend in the big city!

A couple of weeks ago we got to spend a weekend in Omaha and Lincoln! Friday we had a nice supper with my old college friends and spent the night at Alex’s new place in downtown Omaha.   The kids thought his place was pretty neat and enjoyed our air mattress campout on the living room floor!  They got to experience their first Berkshire Hathaway Shareholder Meeting. They had a great time checking out the campers, plane and walking around!

After lunch we headed to Lincoln to hang out with Kelsey and Kearney and made a trip to the children’s zoo! They loved the animals, especially feeding the goats and the camel! We got a little wet but we didn’t melt!

Sunday led us to swimming in the pool and a quick trip to Scheels! We had a great weekend but wish we could have had a bit more time with everyone!
