Easter 2019!

We had a great, low key Easter this year! My family was in Montana so we spent the day with Tyler’s family! It was a beautiful, sunny day- a perfect day for an Easter egg hunt outside!

Aunt Kelsey sent the perfect dress for Harper!

Carter was not a fan of his pink shorts, but give him an alternative of pants and he will pick any shorts!

They all loved dying Easter eggs! A week later, dad is the only one who has ate any!

We overall had a great weekend for Easter! So blessed!

Matching outfits from the Easter Bunny!

We got some girl time while Carter had fun at the farm!

Don’t turn your back on a 21 month old! Ever!

Big day for Harper!

It was a huge milestone for Harper on Tuesday night, one she has been patiently waiting for for so long- she lost her first tooth!!!  She pulled it out all by herself, after a little help loosening from dad!

She had been wiggling that thing all week and that night it was constant! She finally got it at bedtime, so she chose not to put it under her pillow that night- she said she wasn’t quite ready to give it up! She was sure to put it under the following night, I even think I heard the tooth fairy almost forgot to pick her up tooth on her  way! Thankfully she got the job done!

Harper didn’t shed one tear and was super brave through it all! We were so proud of her! She couldn’t wait to share it with everyone! Luckily for Uncle Kearney we were FaceTiming at the time, so he got in on it all! As you can assume, there was lots of screetching and running around the house!

21 months!

Oh my how our little lady is growing! One thing that has certainly grown is her vocabulary! She is nonstop talk lately! There isn’t much that she can’t get across!

Now that the weather is nice- she has loved being outside! She is always wanting to swing! She finally
got to try out her Christmas present.

She’s quite the independent little lady- tonight she thought she needed to cut her own strawberries. I frequently hear “mom, no help” or “I do it!”

She’s can have quite the attitude to go with that independence. She’s got a bit of a short fuse- quickly going from just fine to throwing herself on the floor!

Her favorite show is “baby shark” and she loves sing along songs! Especially Happy Birthday, The Wheels on the Bus and the ABC’s. She can always spot when her favorite sweatshirt is clean!

Some of her other favorites include: cereal, pancakes, hot dogs, Mac and cheese, pizza! She loves babies- fake or real! And she is always asking “uh showey” (shower).  Her paci is always in her mouth for nap or bedtime along with the pizza blanket! The pizza blanket we jokingly bought Carter for Christmas but now the two of them argue over it every night, so much so that I just bought another!

She’s been the perfect addition to our family and we can’t imagine how boring life would be without her!
