Our baby is 6?!?!

I can’t believe we have a 6 year old! Harper has been such a joy to our lives! She has grown into such a sweet, well rounded little lady and the absolute best big sister! 

She is such a help at home and loves to get her hands into everything! Dishes, cooking, organizing- she’s the go to girly! She has such a love for friends, playing barbies and babies, and all things girl! 

She is rocking Kindergarten and we are so proud of her! We can already see her learning so much! I think 6 is going to be the biggest year yet for our little girl! 

We had a fun, unicorn party on Sunday! She is a lover of all things unicorn! 

She spotted this unicorn light at our favorite store, Target, the day before her party. Of course, she just had to have it. Little did we know, uncle Alex would pull through!

Yearly stats!

We had a big checkup for all the kids a couple weeks ago! The kids love Dr. Gebhardt! All three seem to be growing just as they should! Harper and carter skimmed by without shots but poor Harlow got 3! She was a champ tho! Harper had to get a finger poke and did great with that! We are so blessed to have happy, healthy kiddos! 

Kindergarten!

It’s official, Harper had her first day of Kindergarten today! 

She’s been looking forward to this day for a very long time; Mom has been dreading this day for a very long time.  We both survived the day! Harper loved her first day and can’t wait to go back tomorrow! She loved riding the bus. She said she even got “real chicken” on her chicken taco! 

Going to the same school Mommy and Daddy went to years ago! 

We can’t wait to see her continue to grow this year! She is going to move mountains! 

Mom held it together until it was time to leave. Just so hard to believe we are already to this stage in life. 

She is so excited to have Mrs. Thoene as a teacher! 

Quite the group, 17 total! She is going to have a great year! 

Sioux Falls fun!

A few weeks ago, we decided to do an overnight stay in Sioux Falls with us not going on a big vacation! We started with the water park! The kids loved the park! Carter had a blast going down the big slides and going around the lazy river! Harper has a bit uneasy about the slide but enjoyed it after the initial fear! She has a huge love for wave pools so that’s what she loved! Those two are such fish and are so happy anytime water is involved! 

We had a delicious supper! The kids loved the mozzarella sticks! 

After supper we hit the Falls! They are beautiful and the kids loved exploring! 

Tyler insisted we stay at an Air B&B. It was a beautiful historic home, but a little creepy. It had a few too many doors for moms liking. It was quite and experience for all of us. We are still hearing “remember when Dad made us stay at that random persons house”! It’s something they sure won’t forget! 

A quick trip to the zoo and Scheels topped our little get away! Harlow got lots of  one on one time with nana and papa and Kendyl!
