Omaha Fun!!

We spent the first weekend in May with some of our favorite people- Kelsey and Kearney!!! It had been quite some time since we had seen them and the kids (and us) couldn’t wait!

On Friday, we did a couple small family things!  We went through the wildlife conservation park close to Ashland! The kids loved getting to see the animals- it wasn’t quite as fun as the zoo but they enjoyed it, especially seeing the eagles up close!

We ate supper at Lead Belly’s- Carter was the biggest flirt with one of the waitresses and definitely had a little crush on her! After eating, I thought it would be fun to go across the Pedestrian bridge which connects Nebraska and Iowa. Of course, no one liked my idea until we got on the bridge- then it was a pretty cool idea! Mom win :)

We spent lots of time in the pool! It was oddly warm for being a hotel pool! The pool made us all even more anxious for warm weather and summer! Side note- April was one of the coldest April’s on record.

We did manage to get in some fun at a mini golf area! It was dinosaur themed and the kids thought it was pretty cool!

We may have future golfers on our hands!

We loved our time with Kels and Kearney! It always goes so fast! Counting down the weeks until we see them in June!

(Backup) 10 months old!

Our sweet baby girly is 10 months old! I seriously can’t believe how fast this time has gone. Her little personality has just blossomed the last month! She has learned so much- waving at everyone! She will watch out the window and wave at the people that are walking by! She doesn’t have the biggest wave- just uses her little hands! She is a juicy kiss giver! She’s getting better at blowing kisses as well!

She loves to clap and is quite the little mover and shaker! She loves to dance with any sort of music she hears! She can be in the middle of nursing, but if a song comes on- she is popped up and shaking!

Harlow loves food! The real stuff! No more baby food for her! She is a whiny baby if you have food and are not sharing and seems to find any speck of food on the floor- even mud!  She loves being outside and swinging or going for walks but she absolutely hates the grass! She does not like any part of her body touching it!

She is such a loved baby girl! She holds a special place in each of our hearts, especially her brother and sister! It is so rewarding to see all the love they have towards her- and then she pulls their hair :) :) :)
