(Backup) "Cheese"

We had newborn and family pictures taken a week after Harlow was born! Let me tell ya- getting 3 children to cooperate is not easy! They did do pretty good all in all. I still can't believe we got a great family picture- all 3 kids were beyond done by that point and Miss Harlow did not want to sleep that day at all! 

1st Day of Preschool!

Harper had her first day of 4 year old preschool on Monday. She was so excited and super bummed when Tuesday came and she couldn't go to school. She goes all day long on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, which means we have to pack a lunch every day. Mom is not looking forward to that part. 

She has 10 kids in her class and the same teacher, Mrs. Slagle. We are so glad she is excited about school! We can't wait to see how she grows in the next year! 

 

Carter was quite bummed he couldn't go to school with  Harper. He was so excited about the school bus too, he just couldn't understand why he can't ride one. 

Oh Carter!

Carter has certainly given us quite a few laughs lately. His vocabulary is through the roof.  There isn't anything he won't repeat- somehow he always seems to get it into the right context as well. He's lucky he has such a cute smile and voice, that's melts your heart and makes you forget all about it. 

His latest:

-when you ask him a why question, his response is always "cuz why"! 

-this weekend he started saying "no way hosey"

-tonight, if Harper did something wrong, it was always "Harper Gansebom" in a stern voice. He can also get a pretty stern voice when he gets mad at Miles! 

-Harlow is usually referred to as "my baby" 

He has a huge love for animals, especially kitties and cows! 

He is a great brother- atleast most of the time ;). When he wakes up in the morning, he is immediately asking where Harlow and Harper are! His favorite things to eat are: cereal, hot dogs, nacks (fruit snacks), and pretzels. His ultimate favorite is pizza! Anytime you ask him what he wants- it's always pizza! He takes after his dad with that one! He is constantly putting a smile on our face! 

1 month old?!?!

How can it be that our sweet baby girl is 1 month old already?!? She has been the perfect addition to our family! She has been a great baby so far, only crying when hungry or tired! She has made it way to easy on momma- lately she has been sleeping 7-8 hours at night before waking up! 

She had her 1 month checkup on Friday. She was 10 pounds (73rd %) and 22 inches (87th %).  She is growing perfectly! We've attempted the bottle a couple of times and it's something we need to work on! 

 

She loves being talked to! Harper is so good at entertaining her with conversation! I often get told "she just wants to be talked to mom"! 

She also loves bath time! She has not hardly cried when it comes to bath! She is certainly going to take after the other 2 and love water!
