2 years old!

Our happy guy Carter celebrated his 2nd birthday yesterday! Can't believe how fast these two years have gone- he has brought so much joy into our lives! We got to celebrate on Sunday evening with family, he loves having everyone over to play with! We think he liked opening presents, although he had a pained face the entire time :). By far, his favorite part of the night was when everyone sang "Happy Birthday"! He even demanded everyone to do it again!

Carter's vocabulary continues to blossom! He is trying to make more sentences! The doctor said he should be saying 20 words by 2- we are well over that! He can count to 10 and tries to say ABC's. He is a pretty happy guy most of the time! He has turned into a fish, just like Harper! He loves the water and being outside!

 

 He got moved to a big-boy bed- we've had a few challenges with that, but it's getting better! He loves his big sister and is always worried about Harper! He loves to give my belly kisses!  He is such a little charmer and that smile just melts our hearts! 

He was 27.8 pounds (62%) and 34.5 inches tall (48%). He was pretty excited to go to the doctor, which we didn't understand- of course when we went in he went straight for the stickers! Silly boy! 

 

He loved his birthday ice cream after swimming!
