(Backup) Happy Easter!!!

What a beautiful day we had for Easter! Can't beat lots of sunshine! The kids got spoiled- by the Easter Bunny and the entire family! Harper learned the story of the crucifiiction at school- she had colored papers and had to show them to all our visitors this week! It is so neat that she is starting to understand the true meaning behind holidays- her favorite part was of course telling us " He is Risen Indeed!".  

Of course we had to color Easter eggs! What a mess that was- but the kids had lots of fun! 

 

 

Carter had to make sure every egg got a dip in every color! I couldn't believe his hands came clean! 

Of course the Easter bunny paid a visit to our house- rain boots and other goodies for the kids!

Last holiday as a family of 4!

So glad we got to see Kels and Kearney again! 

Of course we had lots of Easter egg hunt fun! 

 

  

They faired pretty well with candy and money for the piggy banks! Another great holiday in the books! 

Disney on Ice!

A couple of weeks ago, we surprised Harper with Disney on Ice- the princess edition!  We made this a girls trip and had nana, Kendyl, Amanda and the girls join us! We had so much fun! Harper loves "girls days", but this one was extra special! 

 

 

She couldn't tell you her favorite part, unfortunately she kept asking if Elsa was going to come on, but she never did! It was a great show either way! We all had a great day! 

Colorado fun!

About a month ago, we made the trip to visit Kelsey and Kearney! The kids did sooo good on the drive- I was so impressed! We made a pit stop in North Platte on the way out and hit a children's museum, which of course was a hit! While out in Colorado, everyone else went snowmobiling but the kids and I hung out! We had a great lunch date at chick-fil-a followed by swimming at the rec center in Longmont. It was such a warm pool- we all loved it! 

The next day we did a little shopping! They fought over who got to sit in the stroller! 

The rest of the weekend, we just got to be lazy and hang out with the family!  

 

   

The kids did just as good on the drive home! We made a pit stop in Broken Bow to visit everyone at Farm Credit Services! We drove Harper past our old house-of course she remembered it :)
