Silly boy!

Carter has changed so much in the past few months, my blogging hasn't really reflected that. He is such a little boy, not a baby anymore 😢😢😢.

He loves to play with balls! Tyler brought the toy basketball hoop in and he always wants to "shoot"- of course half the time he makes us lift him up to shoot! Today I caught him trying to shoot with dog food!

In church, there is a statue in the back, close to the ceiling with Jesus' arms extended out- his new thing is to look back there and extend his arms just like Jesus. We can't help but giggle when he does it :) and he loves to shake everyone's hand!

We had his favorite food tonight- pizza! He will repeatedly say "pizza" after he hears it once. Of course, he's developed a deep monster voice at times and used that one tonight! Such a silly boy!

He is still loving his Miles! Tonight, he kept getting mad because he couldn't get a ball cap on Miles! Miles might drive us a little crazy sometimes, but he is so good with the kids!  Carter tried to get Miles to "cheese" and take a picture of him today. Carter will just way-lay on Miles if he is laying on the floor or if he's laying by the couch, he tries to use him as a step-stool. Harper loves to spray Him with a deodorant spray, brush him, and the latest has been to get him riled up with my new handheld vaccuum.

Carter has been a huge Mama's boy lately, depending on the hour of the day- I love it! Tyler said he wasn't very happy today when it was him getting Carter out of bed and not me :)

His vocabulary has just blossomed lately! I wish I could just record him all day! He has recently started yelling to people- Harper touched his hand after nap and pretty soon we heard "Hauper" in his mean tone! "Dad" has also come out a lot in the mean tone! Such a silly!

Harper has been practicing writing her name a ton lately! She can write all the letters uppercase, they just might not be in the right order :) The other day she was concerned that Mrs. Slagle wasn't writing her name right because she didn't have the correct letters (she used lowecase).

We went shopping for prom dresses yesterday with Kendyl and she loved it! She thought all the dresses were so pretty! I can't imagine how she will be when it is her turn :)

Harper is definitely coming around with the new baby!  She likes to throw random names out there to name the baby. She also thinks that she should have a bedroom in the crawl space and the baby can sleep in her room!

I've been feeling great, just tired. I felt the baby move this last week, so that's exciting and reassuring!  We find out the sex ad our next appointment- Harper is banking on a girl!

Had to throw a picture in here- this is from our pool day in Yankton! So much fun!

New Year, New Baby!!!

We are expecting Baby #3! He or she is expected to come in July- around the 11th! We are excited to add another level of crazy to our household :).

Harper has been saying for months how she wanted a baby sister, when we finally told her she was gonna be a big sister,  she decided we didn't need another baby! By the next day, she was ok with another baby- just so it's a sister :)

I have been feeling great! Only had one bought of sickness- darn that garlic bread smell! Today was my 14 week appointment and everything looks great! Baby had a heart rate of 150!

Merry Christmas!!!

We've had quite the Christmas celebration this year and this mama is tired! We finished up with our Christmas' on Friday!

We decorated a gingerbread house a couple days before Christmas with a little help from nana and Kendyl! Harper loved doing it!

On Christmas Eve we made our way to Marcia and Randy's for soup, followed by the program at church, a little soup at my parents and finally opening presents as a family!

It's amazing how challenging it is to get smiles from both of them at the same time!

So much fun opening presents! Although, Carter probably liked the presents for Miles better then his own!

It didn't take long for Carter to catch on to opening presents! Santa brought the best presents- Harper got just what she wanted! Her Barbie dream house has been a hit and Carter also likes his barn!

Christmas Day we celebrated with Tyler's side for lunch and the Koehler group for supper! It was such a nice and enjoyable day!

On Friday, we celebrated Christmas with my family! Kelsey and Kearney got to spend a long weekend with us at home and we all loved it!

Kelsey made these great picture books for the kids!

Friday was a beautiful day to be outside. Carter loves being outside!

Harper insisted they take a picture like this :)

Harper had lots of sleepovers with them this weekend!

Our kids were certainly spoiled this year! We have the best family anyone could ask for, we are certainly blessed!
