12 month stats!

Carter had his check up yesterday. He was 22 pounds 2 ounces (64%) and 30.8 inches (84%). He's a growing boy! He wasn't a very happy camper at the doctors office- had to have 3 shots and a finger poke to check his iron level. All came back good! He's been a little grumpier the past few days- I think he is working on a few more teeth to add to the 3 he has. 

We've moved into the new house this last Saturday! We are loving having our own house back! Staying with my parents this last month could not have gone smoother, we definitely appreciated all the extra help with the kids! Thank goodness for great family! We are loving the house- Carter is especially loving that this living room has much more carpet then the last! We are loving this small town feeling again! Harper loves to see her friends more! 

Aunt Kelsey and uncle Kearney were back for Carter's birthday! It was great seeing them! We can't wait to have our visit to Colorado the end of this month!   We of course had to hit the pool while they were here! Harper is such a fish, she has started swimming under water without her puddle jumper! She does a great job! 

Carter is well on his was to becoming a fish as well, or maybe a shark ;) he has absolutely no fear of the water! He just keeps on crawling in the baby pool, when he starts to choke on water and you grab him, he just smiles! 

Harper also went for her first motorcycle ride with papa! She loved it. I think a few more blocks and she would have been sleeping! 

Birthday Boy!!!

Our sweet little Carter man turned one year old on Sunday!!! What a fast year it's been! He is such a joy, always happy! He's starting to try walking, but decides it's much faster to just crawl! He is quite the eater anymore! His favorites are carrots, pizza and pancakes! He is such a sweet boy, always giving kisses or laying on shoulders! 

We are still working on sleeping through the night! He's gotten better at taking longer naps. He loves to play outside- if he hears the door open, he's mad dashing to get out! His all time favorite things are balls and dogs! We are pretty sure his first word was "ball" followed by "pup". He's also got dada, mama, papa and buh (buh bye) down! 

He does have a little naughtiness to him once in awhile. He loves to pull big sisters hair, and throw little fits if it isn't mom getting him out of his bed in the morning! 

We love you little man! He had quite the party to celebrate! Grandma Ingrid made a great cake, but Carter was not into the smash cake! 

Fun at the zoo! And Good byes!

Well it's been a few weeks now, but we had to say goodbye to our Cece so she could go back to Italy. We enjoyed our time with her so much! Harper and Cece grew especially close- she was just like another aunt! We are certainly going to miss her and can't wait to have her visit again! Carter had lots of fun at her going away party! Cece made the kids special gifts that we will always cherish! 

We hit the zoo while in Omaha! We had lots of fun with all the cousins at the zoo! They were all so very well behaved- we all had a great time! 

He thought these were pretty cool! 

We can wait to go back to the zoo! 

We are still in the remodeling process of the new house in Osmond! We currently living with Nana and Papa and so far no one has gone crazy! We are hoping to be in our new house by Carter's birthday!
