8 months old!

Our little man turned 8 months old yesterday!

He is quite the mover and shaker! All over the place, nothing is safe in our house anymore!

He loves trying to get on Harper's stool! His favorite thing to find is the nasty toilet caps--gross! He is now an expert clapper, only crawls on his knees now,and is attempting to stand against everything. We have kind of given up on baby food- he only likes the real stuff! He still doesn't have any teeth and still gets up twice a night :(. Unfortunately the last month we've been battling an ear infection.  Even with that, he's still been a pretty happy guy whose smile lights up the room!

His little sister is less then impressed with his moving capabilities and is constantly getting into her stuff :) she is still a great big sister!

We had a beautiful February day so we got to play outside yesterday and go for a walk!

Valentine's Day!

We enjoyed a great weekend! Harper got to have a Valentine's party at Carol's Friday! She had lots of fun gluing her Valentine's together!

The only way to get out of taking all her goodies with us every where this weekend was to take a picture to show everyone!

We made a final trip to Omaha before Kelsey makes the official move to Colorado. Kearney was even back to hang out! We hit up the Children's museum- Harper had fun- especially making cakes and pizza!

We had some time to kill before supper!

On Valentine's Day we layed low-just hung out in the morning and then drove home. Of course the kids got spoiled! We had a romantic dinner of Valentino's pizza!

He's going to be quite the heartbreaker some day! What a cute Valentine!

Week of firsts...

It has been a week of firsts for both kids-

-First blizzard!!! Winter storm Kayla dropped approximately 16 inches of snow! What a mess it was! Nebraska was practically shut down Tuesday and part of Wednesday, but of course mom still had to work so I missed out on the snow day fun :(

Our driveway was packed! It took Tyler 1 1/2 hours to get it cleared with the snow blower!

-Harper's first selfie haircut--- it's sad but true. I figured this day was coming but still had my hopes out that she wouldn't do it! I keep telling myself that it could be worse.

She cut quite a chunk out, but I tried to change her part a bit to cover. Thankfully her hair seems to grow fast.

-Carter is crawling more and more on his knees and trying to pull himself up.

The other day he decided to pull the table down while sister was eating a bowl of cereal- you can imagine how that went over!
