18 months old!!!

We can't hardly believe our sweet Carter is 18 months old! He had us check up the other day and is 25.6. Pounds and 33 inches, both of which put him in the 71st percentile!

He had almost 10 teeth, we've been working on those darn molars for quite some time!  He loves his Miles, especially giving him bones! He is always sure to tell Miles to "sit" before he gets his treat! Some of his favorites are looking at phones and playing with Snapchat! We frequently hear "ina see!" We can barely get him to take the picture before he's begging to see it! He sure seems to like basketball season now that it's underway! He has always loved balls and has loved seeing all the mascots at the gyms and is quite the cheerer!

He is trying to say more and more words everyday! He  has loved looking for Eddy, our elf lately! This cold weather is really throwing a wrench in his ability to swing outside and he does not like it! We love his love of books, well most of the time! He is always insisting on us reading him books!

We are so excited to see how he reacts to opening presents- I'm sure it will be a hit!

Preschool program!

Harper has her first big program last Sunday! She did a great job at her Preschool Christmas Program! She was just a little shy, and played with her dress a bit but overall did awesome!

She didn't share any of her songs at home practicing either. We don't usually get much out of her about school!

Aren't they the cutest things!

After the program we had a little pizza with the Koehler clan and then headed to Santa Land!

Harper thought it was pretty neat! Carter could still careless for Santa!

Santa!

We took the kids to see Santa a couple of weeks ago! Harper did a great job telling Santa what she wanted and that she had been a very good girl!

Carter on the other hand might be getting coal this year! He was not thrilled at all with Santa! He barely sat long enough to get a picture!

Eddie, our elf, has made his return! He just happened to be waiting for Harper in the tote of Christmas decorations! Oops on moms part :) good thing she's not quite old enough to completely understand!

Just a little update on the kids because I have truly slacked on this blogging thing lately! Harper is loving school and daycare! We had parent teacher conferences last week and she is doing great!

Carter is talking more and more, or atleast getting the first syllable of words! His favorite word lately is "no",  he's lucky he has a cute tone to it because we hear it more then we should! He has 7 teeth completely through and he's working on 2 molars, which is proving to be quite the challenge for him and us!

We've just been plenty busy with work and Christmas party's already! 'Tis the season!

Halloween Fun!

We have had beautiful weather this past week! We hit the pumpkin patch on Tyler's birthday- just what he wanted to do ;). We made the trip to Oakland and had so much fun!

The jumpy things were so fun! They were Carter's favorite!

They both loved the bunnies and fed them plenty of leaves!

Aunt Kendyl even had the day off of school to come with us!

Harper got to have a Halloween party at school on Thursday! On Monday morning, we went with daycare and "treated" the businesses around Osmond!

We had so much fun trick or treating with all the cousins! It's so fun to see them all together and dressed up!

Our cute little cowgirl and cowboy!

Carter even left his hat on the entire time! He looked like a legit cowboy- bow legged and all!

New stats!

The kids had their well baby checks last week! Harper is 39.5 pounds (79%) and 41.8 in (85%)- I believe the height but I think they might have weighed her a bit heavy ;). She got all her shots that day so is good for kindergarten in a couple years! She ended up getting 5, poor girl but she was a trooper! When it came time for Carter's shots, she told me she couldn't watch and had to step outside the door! She has grown up so much the past few months! She is loving school, especially when I work and she gets to go with Christy and Toby to "Christy's school before preschool! She is loving the small town life, especially when she is at Nana's and can walk down the street to her friends!

Carter weighed in at 24.8 pounds (76%) and was 32 inches (76%) tall at 15 months. He checked out great and was the lucky one to only get 3 shots! He is learning so much and everyday is something new! He's getting better at the animal sounds and starting on body parts! So far everything is an eye! He loves reading books and is constantly finding me around the house and putting a book in my hand to read to him. He seems to be a grazer most days, and if you have any food around- you better be sharing! Shoes are also one of his favorite, along with his puppy!

Both the kids have grown so much these part few months, makes me appreciate every day I get to spend with them!

Mr. Miles!!!

Harper has been asking for a puppy for quite some time, so for her 4th birthday we caved!  We wrapped him up in a box and had one last birthday present!

After much deliberation, Miles became his name! He's been a pretty good puppy for the most part and growing fast! He's a goldendoodle and his father was a mini poodle, so hoping he only gets about knee height!

Harper wasn't a huge fan of her puppy for the first couple days, but now they are both great with him!  He puts up with a lot from Carter- I can picture these two getting into some trouble some day!

Happy 4th Birthday Harper!!!

Our sweet, caring, spunky girl turned 4 years old this weekend! How she has grown so much and matured so much this past year! Last weekend Kels, Kearney, and Alex were in town so we celebrated a little early. Harper was a bit confused yesterday, so we had the grandparents over for cake!

She had a great party and had so much fun! She is certainly into horses lately, but won't dare touch one :)

Kelsey did a great job with decorations!

Such a cute cowgirl!!!

She loves the new Elena show!

Of course, grandma Ingrid did a great job on her cakes!

Had to do a sister's picture! Love them!

Flower girl fun!

Harper was a flower girl this last weekend for MacKenzie and John, a good family friend. She looked adorable and did such a great job! She and Rylan were very serious about their roles when walking down the aisle! When it came to sitting in the pew during the ceremony, not so much!

She loved getting all dolled up and aunt Kels was back to do her hair! She looked so grown up!

Love this picture of them!

We love the Clayton family! The girls had a great time on the dance floor! Carter has picked up a few moves from the other night too :)

This was from rehearsal night! Abby was Harper's idol on Saturday. "The white one" as Harper referred to her, had a shadow all night!
