Merry Christmas!

Poor Harper kept asking early last week if Christmas was ever going to come, but it finally came- and boy did we have fun! We were here, there and everywhere! Christmas is always a special time of year but even more so when you have little kids! Seeing her eyes sparkle with excited just makes our day!

Aunt Kelsey and uncle Kearney are moving to Colorado in January so we had to get all the time in with them we could! We are going to miss them so!

Here's a few pictures from Christmas Eve after church!

Harper loved her dress! She was adorable!

Santa finally came! Harper got a trampoline and Carter got some trucks!

Such a good sister showing her brother!

Her and Abby had lots of fun at the Craft Christmas!

Grandma Joan's house was packed with kiddos! It's so fun to see them all together!

We didn't think we'd have much of a white Christmas, but boy were we wrong! We had snow Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! We were rather surprised at the snow on Christmas evening- it took Tyler and I an hour to get back to Norfolk while these goofs got to have all the fun!

Eating snow is her favorite!

We finally had our last celebration Saturday!

Who doesn't love the paper?!?

Fun with CeCe's bear!

Finally a cookie he can eat! Thanks Kels and Kearney!

Harper loves her horse! I'm most certain the horse wasn't meant for her to ride on, but she loves riding Sparkey!

Overall we had a great Christmas! Our house is a disaster and we have too many toys but we had some great time with all our family!

Family Pictures

We had a BEAUTIFUL day to do pictures, especially considering it was November!  Stacy with Creative Edge Photography does a great job! These are by far my favorite pictures we've had taken.   Here are a few of my favorites!

Harper is impossible to get to smile and look at the camera for anyone BUT a professional- I'm glad she will do it for someone at least!

She is such a great big sister and loves her little brother so much!

Our little man is such a happy guy!

Just showing some of her attitude :)

We love being parents to these blue eyed beauties!

We combined them all to make a perfect Christmas card!

6 months old!!!

Our sweet boy is 6 months old! I say this every time, but he is seriously the happiest little guy! He brings such joy to our lives! The past two weeks, he has progressed so much- makes this mama sad-my baby isn't such a baby anymore :(. He is sitting independently now. He gets on his knees when on the floor and rocks back and forth. We've tried some cereal and baby food. He was finally a fan of cereal tonight!

He was pretty interested in those stickers.

Santa with the Stelling's!

On Friday night, we had a date with the Stelling family! It has been quite a while since we've been able to get the kids together! We had some supper, went to Santa Land in Creighton, saw Santa and then headed over to their house to play!

Harper was so excited to see Santa, even when we got inside she was excited but the minute it was her turn, she stopped dead in her tracks! She wasn't going to talk to him! After some convincing, she did decide to sit on Mrs. Claus' lap and she just told Santa what she wanted from there- which she decided is a trampoline and she decided Carter wants trucks!
It's practically impossible to get a picture of the two of them. Carter was way too interested in the lights!

It's even more impossible with four!

The boys were pretty impressed with Santa's beard!

The girls had a ton of fun on the horse! The boys were intrigued by each other! So glad our kids are so close in age- it's so fun to watch them play together!

Christmas fun!

What a busy weekend! Friday, aunt Kendyl and Ceci played basketball so we made the trip to Osmond! The kids usually do pretty well at the games! Harper's favorite part is probably the popcorn and running around after the games!
Hot gym=halfway naked baby! Isn't he cute tho!

Kelsey was in town for the weekend so Saturday we spent the morning baking Christmas goodies! Harper was lots of help! I'm pretty sure she ate 2 m&m's for every 1 she placed on a pretzel!

Harper loved playing with the excess sugar cookie dough!

Who knew Papa Paul was such a good hairstylist?!?

We had our first of many Christmas parties this weekend- Saturday was spent with Tyler's coworkers at a hockey game. On Sunday we had a meal and gift exchange with my coworkers. It was fun to see the kids play together!

I forgot to post last week...here is Carter's first swing ride! Who would have guessed 60's in December?!? We sure enjoyed it!

Our Little Artist!

Harper has taking a huge liking to coloring, painting, anything artistic! Of course, every picture has to go on the fridge- and if it doesn't stay up, we have a little breakdown!

This is even minus a few pictures :)

Harper's first haircut!!

Harper finally got her first haircut today! Its hard to believe this blonde beauty didn't have much hair at all for atleast the first year of her life! She seemed indifferent about it going in but once we got there, she was excited!

The cape had a fish on it, so her and Emily talked about fishing! Harper went on and on about how daddy caught a big fish but she didn't and she had to share how daddy broke her fishing pole! She wasn't a bit shy!!

She was such a big girl! She did a great job!

Yesterday while shopping for some jeans at the western store, we turn around to see Harper like this-

Her response was "round em up cowboy!" She is such a goof, but sure knows how to put a smile on our faces and melt our hearts!!
