Oh Sammy!

In an effort to make a shopping trip to Gordman's go fast, we told Harper if she stayed with aunt Kelsey we would bring her back a surprise.

Meet Sammy the horse!

This is the first stuffed animal that she has actually named, which we couldn't believe! Her other favorites got into the picture too- lamby, puppy. Multiple times a day, Harper and Sammy gallop through the house, running away from the "bandits". Sammy also likes to give Tyler and I rides behind Harper (you can imagine how silly we look)! Sammy also finds his way into the vehicles and of course takes naps in Harper's bed- complete with covers!

This was the first picture we took but when she looked at it, she didn't like that Lamby wasn't in it. I'm not sure our second attempt is any better. :)

Fun weekend!!

Last weekend was a fun, busy weekend! We started the weekend with a wedding of my cousin-Rob. It was outdoors outside of Lincoln and the reception was in a neat barn! Harper had a ton of fun! She fell asleep during the dance, when she woke the next morning the first thing she asked is if it was all done- she was ready to start again!

We took a little time after the wedding to get some pictures!

Carter is such a little ham!!

There was a kid activity table- Harper loved it and the stampers that were on it as well! She had tracing of stamps into Sunday!

Saturday we did some shopping, had a couples shower to go to for a friend and then hit a haunted house!

We finally decided Sunday was a good day to hit the "zoom" as Harper called it. It was a little breezy, but a perfect day for the zoo!

The sea turtle was so neat to watch!

The giraffes were a big hit too!

Of course Harper had to try out all the animals!

Harper and I could have watched the orangutan for hours! The baby was so cute!

Both of the kids did great at the zoo! We closed down the zoo that day but Harper could have gone for a few more hours! She didn't complain or whine at all! We will probably be making the zoo a yearly visit!

That night when we got home she made a bed for her and Carter on the floor :)

She is so thoughtful of her little brother! She is a great big sister!

4 months old!

Our happy, sweet, cuddly boy turned 4 months on Monday!

My how these months have flown by! He is rolling from his back to his tummy and is always trying to sit up! We have gotten so lucky to have a happy baby like Harper was! It doesn't take much for this sweet boy to smile!

He has found his tongue lately, always sticking it out! He has an appointment next week to see how he is growing, clearly that isn't a problem :)

Busy, Busy!

We've had a busy few weeks! Last weekend Aunt Kels was back so we spent lots of time in Osmond. Harper got her first ride in the combine with Papa!

She kept saying "this is so cool papa"! I think she may be a farm girl at heart!

On Saturday, we decided to make the trip to Grand Island to watch Aunt Kendyl March! It was a bit chilly so we had to dress warm!

Harper loved watching the band. We followed along side for a few blocks and Harper kept yelling "good job oz, keep it up" and "way to go Kendyl"! Maybe a cheerleader is in her future :)

Harper loved the play area at the mall! "I'm the king of the castle".

Hard to believe our little man is almost 4 months old! He is so fun to have around, we wouldn't trade him for the world!
