2 month check up

Our little man had his 2 month check up today. The numbers confirmed he is certainly a growing boy :) He is 14 pounds 4 ounces (81%) and  24.8 inches long (96%). My baby isn't such a tiny baby anymore :(. He is growing so fast.  He got 2 shots today and an oral vaccine. He slept quite a bit this afternoon- which is definitely not his normal and had a low-grade fever. 

He got a little extra cuddle time today! 

He is quick to find his hands the past week. I'm hoping we won't have a thumb sucker but I'm afraid we are getting there. 

It was a beautiful night for a walk! Carter loved our walk, Harper on the other hand was not very happy. She decided to wear tennis shoes, which she hasn't done all summer. She was so mad because she couldn't run fast to catch dad! She kept saying "I can't go any faster!" 

Happy Birthday Harper!!!

Today is Harper's 3rd birthday!!! I can't believe our little girl is already 3 years old. She brings so much joy to our lives! She is fun, sassy, smart and so much more! She amazes us every day! We love her so much! 

We celebrated Harper's day by eating at Valentino's and then heading to Gobs and Gobb's of Fun with Adalyn, Alyvia, Jameson, Toby and Knox! They had such a great time! I'm sure we will have to go back! 

We are having a birthday party this weekend for our little girl! She can't wait to have a mermaid party!! 

And...Happy Anniversary to Tyler and I. 4 years and going strong!! 

Ear Piercing!!

Now that we are done swimming for the summer, we decided to have Harper's ears pierced. She was so excited to have them done! 

I think she thought the markings were the earrings! If only it were that easy!

After! She looks so cute! It only took a few minutes and she was just fine! 

Such a silly girl!! 

When she was done, we treated her to a carousel ride- of course she made me and aunt Kels ride too! 

Earlier in that day we had a Green family picnic! We had a great time and loved being able to see everyone! It was a beautiful day!

On Saturday, we celebrated Zach (Tyler's cousin) and Dean's wedding. It happened to be in Sioux City as well, so we got a night in the hotel! 

We had a great time at the wedding! 

Aunt Amie had braided her hair Friday night and so when we took it out Saturday, Harper had kinky hair! She looked adorable and she loved the back of it! 

We had a great weekend! 

Past week fun!

We had a busy week last week! Harper got to have a picnic at the park and play with the Koehler kids!! 

We hit the pool for the last time :( Harper has become quite the fish this last summer! We are so proud of her! On Monday we decided to go to a big water park. Harper loved going down the water slide!!! 

On Friday, Carter had his first afternoon at Carol's house. This is what we thought of going. We are gonna have extra snuggles because I go back to work in 2 weeks. :( 

On Saturday, we had a wedding in Osmond. Perfect time for a family photo!

2 months old!

So hard to believe our little Carter is 2 months old! 

He certainly has grown this past month! He is usually a pretty happy baby! He is cooing and usually smiles pretty easy- of course tonight was another story! He is starting to follow people and loves watching any lights, fans or tvs. He is pretty much sleeping through the night, if he does wake up- it's usually after 5 am. He's grown a liking to his fist, especially the past week. I'm afraid we might end up with a thumb sucker yet. He is definitely a joy though and we wouldn't change a thing!! 

Harper does great with her brother! The other day while I was doing dishes, she was talking to him and got so excited when he smiled at her! She is getting pretty good at "spit up patrol", especially in the car! She certainly loves her brother, but not too much that it worries us to leave her alone in a room with him :) 

 

Camping fun!

I'm a little behind posting but Harper got to go camping last week with Nana and Papa! She had such a great time! She was gone from Sunday-Thursday so mom and dad got extra cuddle time with Carter! Here are some pictures I got to get me through the week :) 

She sure missed her little brother tho! Couldn't wait to hold him!
