During supper tonight Harper was eating a cracker and pushing the cracker down on her bottom teeth to break it up, Ty and I were pretty impressed by her ingenuity! It's the little things that make us laugh! Pretty sure she finally blew a couple kisses today! We have been working on that one for quite some time now.

T-1 month until a birthday!!
I just finished the invites for Harper's 1st birthday party. It is crazy to think the time has come to celebrate that big day already :( We had an enjoyable weekend at home, working on little projects.

Sweet corn!!
We had our first batch of sweet corn for the year and were anxious to see what Harper would think of it....she was not too impressed :) she would hold it but immediately spit and make that terrible face when it hit her tongue. I'm pretty sure she hardly got a taste of that deliciousness!
Last night we had a Koehler reunion in the park in Osmond. Of course Harper, Tony and Alyvia were the center of attention. Mr. Toby loved pushing around Harper's car! I think it's safe to say that he will probably be walking before she does and he is 3 months younger! But in her defensive Toby has "snowboards" for feet and Harper just has "snow skis", as Christy would say. They are so cute to watch together!

A weekend at home!
We enjoyed at weekend at home, finally. We aren't very good at relaxing however. Friday night we had supper with Matt and Lacy and little miss Bristal! Harper got to see some farm animals while at their house, surprisingly she wasn't afraid. Seems she is getting more scared of things these days.

Saturday, a friend that Tyler met while working at Farm Credit in Omaha came for a visit during the day. It was great seeing her and Harper warmed right up to her!We started on a home improvement project that I think we both wish we would have let go on the wayside. Hopefully the next projects won't be this tedious or we won't be doing many more of these :)

Weekend Away!
Tyler and I had quite the weekend in Omaha with his family at the US Senior Open golf tournament. It was pretty warm with lots of hills and walking but we had a great time and really enjoyed the experience!
Harper got to spend her weekend with Aunt Kendyl and Shay. She is definitely becoming Aunt Kendyl's girl. She also got so spend Saturday night with Robbie and the girls. Sounds like they all had a great time and didn't want to give her back :) (I don't blame them!) She was excited to see us, it took her all of about 1 minute before she was back to playing!
Today she wasn't quite her happy self. Not sure if she was tired from her busy weekend or if she is cutting teeth. She finally calmed down after her nap when she got a couple raspberries and we went for a walk to the lake. Too bad bribing with food only lasts so long :)
Just a couple pictures that got sent to me over the weekend. Driving with Lisa at the Hoffman Christmas in July!
As you can see, she is still making that darn face!

Scardie cat
Seems as though we are starting to have a scardie cat on our hands. We went to the fireworks on Saturday and as soon as she hear a "boom" she went right to the closest person! She was not a fan of her first 4-wheeler ride or the mower tonight. Today when I got the vacuum out she went to her room and didn't come out until she heard me turn it off :).
Not much else new, I think she might be working on a few teeth as we have had a slobber bucket on our hands!

Happy 4th of July!
Another first-holiday in the books! We've enjoyed the past few days at the river! Harper seems to really like camping and constantly being outside! She fell asleep on the way home before we could even get out of the campground. We have lots of fireworks going off in our neighborhood so we thought for sure she would wake when we got home, but she hardly flinched when moving her to her bed!

Chatter box!
Last night we decided to go to Michael's, Harper thought it was prime time to test out her vocal cords! She was SOO noisy unless she had food in her mouth! We have never heard her screech or holler quite like she did there. It was funny the first couple minutes but then it got to be a little much :) thank goodness there were only a handful of other people there and they seemed to think it was pretty cute. She finally quieted down once he had a couple kids to focus on :)
During her bath she decided she would try to blow bubbles. It was the cutest thing ever and of course I didn't have my phone in the bathroom and Ty was mowing so I couldn't yell at him. We had only tried to show her twice how to blow bubbles, so she caught on pretty quick! I'll try to get it on tape next time!!
