10 Months old!

Our little Harper girl turned 10 months on Thursday. So crazy to think we almost have a 1 year old :( she is at such a fun age, Tyler even said last night that he wishes she would stay this age longer! She is definitely taking everything in around her.

This was a big week for Harper! She is now laying herself down at nap time and bedtime. She whines a little at nap but we don't hear a peep from her at bedtime. I'm thankful she has made it a pretty easy transition with only a few long crying spells, but I'm definitely missing those cuddle times with my baby :(

She had her first swim in Gaga and Grandpa's pool! She loved the water but was only a fan of mommy and definitely not a fan of her pool floaty or her hat!

She has become quite the eater! She isn't picky at all! One of her favorites seems to be, of all things, raspberries! She is definitely her father's daughter. She is getting a little better everyday at standing up against things, before we know it we will have a walker I'm sure.

This is my first night of 3 so Harper and daddy have plenty of bonding time again! Here was our attempt at a 10 month picture. She was too busy clapping at daddy!

Busy weekend!

We had another busy weekend in the books! Friday night we watched Alyvia, it was fun to watch Harper and her interact. They don't play a whole lot together. Harper was more interested in following Alyvia around then playing together.

Saturday and Sunday we were in Osmond for Summerfest weekend. We had fun seeing friends and family. We staying there over night and it became pretty apparent that we need to get Harper "sleep trained", so that is our goal for the next week or two.

She has been getting up around 4 or so for quite a while. If I feed her she goes right back to sleep, but if Ty feeds her then she isn't so keen on going back to sleep. Her naps are pretty short and it's usually pretty obvious when she wakes up that she is still tired. I don't think she really naps when she goes to Sharon's house because there is too much going on. So we are hoping this will help her all around :) the past few nights have gone okay and nap was better today, but Ty was sure to remind me "not to count my chickens before they hatch" :).

Happy Father's Day!

Tyler got to spend Father's Day weekend with plenty of time 1:1 with Harper with me working most of the weekend. He is such a great daddy to Harper. Considering he had very little experience before we had Harper, he has proved us all wrong :) it melts my heart to see how he interacts and how much she loves him! I'm not sure how many fathers can do what he does with me working nights.

We also have to wish all the dad's out there a Happy Father's Day, but especially to our dad's and grandpas. We are so lucky to have so many father figures in our lives.

Last night I was lucky enough to get called off so we enjoyed and supper with Jared and Amanda and Zach and Jenna and then got to hang out for a little while. These girls are going to be besties!!

First Camping Trip!

Harper went on her first camping trip this weekend. Unfortunately the weather was chilly and rainy, but we still had a good time! She loves to be outside, so the cold didn't really seem to bug her too much. I'm excited to be able to take her camping because I have great memories from camping as a kid!

Saturday night we had a grill out at Jared and Amanda's with a big group of people. Out of the 5 couples with children, there are 7 girls and not one boy!! Girls rule I guess :) we always have a great time with everyone and love to watch the girls play together. Harper seemed to enjoy Brynlee's binky the few times we caught it in her mouth!

Today Harper got to see all her aunts and uncles along with the grandparents!! She is a pretty spoiled little girl :) she is so fun to watch these days, We love the smiles and joy she brings to everyone else.

I have Monday off before my 3 day shifts in a row, so I'm going to take full advantage of my day home with her! Here's to a good week!

A New First!!

Tonight, Harper had her first poop while In the bathtub and boy was it nasty!!! Thank goodness mom and dad were both home to tackle the dirty job!!

She sure enjoyed finishing her bath in the kitchen sink tho!
