The simple things..

Harper found quite the entertainment tonight in the dishwasher :) why have we spent so much on toys?!?

I guess it's the simple things that provide the best entertainment!

8 months old on a beautiful day!

Little missy is 8 months old today! She loves being outside. We finally got a baby swing for the swing set and she loves it!! She immediately started giggling. We can never get her to giggle more then once or twice but she was letting it go in the swing! So fun to watch!!

She is starting to get into everything at home with her new crawling skills. Tomorrow afternoon is Operation Baby Gate!! It was a bit challenging taking this months picture because she doesn't sit still for too long and those letters were pretty appealing :) this was the best we could do!

Busy weekend!!

I don't think we have quite gotten used to having a weekend at home to just "loaf". Seems like we keep finding things to keep busy, but that's just what we are used to I guess :). Friday found us in Osmond visiting the grandparents, last night we hung out with the Stelling's (hopefully for the last time before baby Stelling makes his/her arrival!!). Today we went to Columbus and met Kels and Kearney for lunch and bowling! Just wish our time with them would have been a little longer!

Harper can just get up and crawl whenever she wants now! She started to play peek-a-boo on her own the other day. It is so fun to watch her learn new things!!

We have kept putting strawberries in mesh self feeder but every time she would barely get a taste she acted like it was the worst thing, until Ty was eating them and just giving her small pieces. She was all over them!!

Seems like we have our happy baby girl back now that we are done teething for the time being! Going to enjoy our evening at home before another week of work starts.

We have a crawler!!

Yesterday was a big day for Harper! She finally cut her second bottom tooth and she is just starting to crawl! She hasn't gone too far yet, but that's okay because we just ordered the baby gate!

It was so bittersweet to watch her crawl last night. It is exciting that she is becoming mobile, but doesn't seem like our baby should be able to do that yet :( she is just growing up so fast. Luckily aunt Kels and uncle Kearney were face timing with us so they got in on the exciting action.

She has become quite the little pistol getting into anything that is left on the floor, she especially seems to like my pump tubing and she always seems to find the rip in the couch that got damaged in the big move. I'm sure she will be into much bigger things in just a short time :)

Look at those eyes!!

Boy would we have a nice college fund for Harper started if we had a dollar for every time someone commented on her eyes! I don't think we have taken her out somewhere public without someone commenting on how big and beautiful her eyes are. But how can you not love eyes like these?!?!

First weekend away!

We just got our baby girl back from my parents after our first weekend away without her. The ride out to Alliance for the wedding wasn't too bad, but I can't imagine making Harper go through that. I have to admit, I did better being away then I thought I would have. I knew she was in great hands and it is nice that we can share the joy of her around to everyone. But, boy am I glad to have her back!!!

She looks like she is months older, it seems like she has changed so much in the 3 days we were gone. The little stinker slept through the night at my parents, so we are praying she does the same tonight! So thankful I have tomorrow night off and can spend the next few days home with my little girl!!!
