Last day at Crystal's

Today was the last day for Harper to be at Crystal's house. Crystal and her family are moving to O'Neill. I am so thankful that Crystal had been able to take Harper. When we moved here I was so nervous about daycare and who to take Harper to. We got lucky that Crystal ha recently moved to Norfolk too and had not found a full time job. It was such a relief knowing Harper was in good hands and crystal was so flexible!

On Monday Harper will go to Sharon's. I pray that this will go smoothly. There will be quite a few more kids around, but I think this will be good when Harper is a little older. It sounds like Sharon does a ton with the children, so we are excited yet sad that she isn't going to crystals any longer. Hopefully this will be a smooth transition, lucky for us Harper is a pretty easy going little girl.

I work nights all weekend, so Harper an daddy will get their bonding time. It melts my heart to see how great he is with her. He has beyond exceeded any expectation I had of him when we had Harper!

We have a 7 month old!!!

Can't believe that Harper has turned 7 months already. I wish time would just slow down a little bit!

She has learned so much in the past week it seems. Today I had some towels in a laundry basket on the living room floor, while I was in the kitchen she proceeded to scoot herself over to the basket while remaining sitting and pulled herself up on her knees to get to my towels. I couldn't believe it when I walked into the living room.

She has become pretty brave while sitting on the floor reaching for things and hopping on her knees. She gets up a little bit but not enough to crawl yet, I'm sure that will only be a short time away.

We are still working on the sleeping through the night part :) I keep praying that each night will be the night she sleeps through. One of these days!!

We are so blessed to have her in our lives, she has brought more joy to us then we could have ever imagined!

Harper has a tooth!!

What started out as being a nasty runny nose, cough and earache has turned into a tooth!! That darn tooth finally popped through on Sunday. I was hoping that would solve all our problems but we are still dealing with a runny nose and cough, thank goodness for Boogie Wipes! What I thought was a pretty ridiculous purchase at the time has turned into a lifesaver for Harper's little nose. Hopefully very soon we will all be on the mend from this cold.

She also had her 6 month well baby check up this past week and is a whopping 17lbs 12 oz and 28 1/2 inches. She only has a 1/2 inch to go before she has outgrown her infant carseat. I am hoping this cold weather will cease soon so we can make the big transition, crazy to think we are already at that stage :(. I am so thankful for every chance I get to stay home with her. I have to keep reminding myself how lucky I am that I only work 3 days a week.

New Adventure

Since I haven't gotten much into scrap booking, I thought this would be a fun thing to do.  I thought it would be neat for Harper and our future children to have something from their childhood to look back on and see what happened!  So, here goes my hand at blogging! Wish me luck!

A lot has changed in the last 6 months, the greatest of which has been our Harper Elizabeth.  She was born August 27th, Ty and I's first anniversary!  She has been such a joy and we can't imagine a single day without her!  She is such a happy baby, its impossible for her not to put a smile on your face.  We moved from Broken Bow to Norfolk right before Christmas.  Tyler continues to work for Farm Credit and I have started at Faith Regional.  We are excited to be back around home and be closer to family and friends.

Well, hopefully I will keep up on this and keep you up to date on our family happenings!
